This is my Blog with a lot of random thoughts and experiences of my time in Blighty.
Before my husband came into my life, I was a smiling, over made-up billboard cabin crew for Mr. Richard Branson, and then after a long distance relationship, moved to the US, and invited the corporate planning industry to happily take over my life.
But after long hours, late nights, passing ships and way too many uptight clients to trade for 'soon to be' Michael's cuddles and chaos, I chose to be a stay-at-home mUm, a full-time BA Education student, a Zumba instructor, trained for a marathon and actually swapped my napalmed steak cooking skills for those that Julia Child's might just be proud of?
Military life is an important part of me, and I'm incredibly proud of my husband and the sacrifices he has made, but I don't consider myself a true military wife or military mUm. I'm a woman first. Military life doesn't consume me and that's just how I like it!
