Once upon a time a jaded Publicist and Fashion Stylist moved to warmer waters in search of love, a fresh lease on life, adventure and happiness… Time is a funny thing. A decade can flash by in an uneventful second, and then in less than 2 years, monumental things can happen. Working in an industry that the Gold Coast is renowned for, my visits to the GC from Brisbane had only ever been blanketed in darkness so I had never had the delightful opportunity to really discover all that this wonderful place had to offer. When I moved here and was forced to make changes to my lifestyle to create a healthier and more positive environment I discovered an adventurous wonderland of fun and light amidst the glitz and glamour of the nightclub strips. So join me on this passage I call my life in this magical playground we are lucky enough to dub home – my people, my places, my life, my embraces. Welcome to My Gasoline Rainbow, I hope you enjoy the view xx

Fashion does not have to cost the earth.. financially, or environmentally."
I live in Queensland, Australia with my amazing fiance, Bryce and a seriously cheeky kitty named Beemo.
I work in fashion retail so a lot of what I write comes from what I experience at work.

Think of TFJ as a fashion and beauty publication hosted on a blogging platform.
With a strong focus on the Australian fashion and beauty industries, TFJ is a big supporter of up and coming Aussie talent.
Focusing on designers, stylists, photographers, make up artists and more, TFJ loves to bring great talents into the spotlight. We're always looking for new brands, designers, people and more to report on.
We're also a big lover of all things international and love reporting on fashion and beauty from around the world.
Product reviews are also a big part of TFJ with both fashion and beauty products being reviewed often. Our reviews come from personal experiences of trying out the products rather than a regurgitation of press releases.
We want to deliver a fair, honest and passionate publication to our readers, bust most of all, we want our readers to love reading TFJ!
Contrary to popular belief, university group assignments does not always mean death. We both met at university sharing a group assignment with 6 other people. Shock! But we somehow made it out with our friendship intact and now we are the best of friends.
Our motivation created this blog to be a platform to explore our own personal style in fashion as well as updating the sweeter things in life like trends we’re digging, music, food we’re enjoying, travel buddy-ing and of course we ramble ramblings from time to time.
Maybe it’s the media student in us but we love making our own original content.
Whenever we see something we like, we literally pick out all the elements to reveal the creativity behind it rather than the price tag. It’s made us more aware of how aesthetics work and we aspire to gain the knowledge to create the stunning visual dreams we see in styling but on a more realistic level for us.
We hope you love reading our blog as much as we are putting all of our’s into creating our living daydream.
We hunt down great value, interesting and funky online clothes and giftware stores in the UK & US that ship to Australia, as well as keep an eye out for interesting homegrown stores.
The strength of the Australian dollar at the moment allows Australians to get some great bargains from the UK and US.
Check out our shop directory for a list of our favorite international stores and sellers that ship their items to Australia, such as British faves ASOS, New Look and Dorothy Perkins.
We will also regularly update our blog and style stalker section with some great fashion and giftware items that we have spotted.
Take advantage of overseas sales & upcoming trends before they hit our shores!
