Our philosophy is that every kid deserves a Bucket List. You know, the list where you record all the things you would like to experience with your kidlet before they hit High School. It may include little bits of nostalgia as you list things you did with your own parents like planting pansies in the garden or learning to skim a stone on water. It may also include a few big ticket items like the dream holiday to Disneyland, snorkelling the Barrier Reed or feeding a crocodile in the Northern Territory.
Learning 4 kids focuses on the importance of learning through play. It is about sharing ideas and activities on what I have done with my own children to encourage this play time learning. It also shares my favourite books and resources, a list of nursery rhymes and some useful printable resources, which can be used for games.
Lover of all things French and German, stationery, languages, words, painting, reading, films and cross-stitch.
I am covered in baby spew/poo/pee/dribble/food at any one time and my bad hair day has turned in a bad day year. But dammit I will manage to put on a bit on lipstick each day to make me feel put together – if only for the few seconds I have spare in front of the mirror.
Whoops, we seem to have gotten it all a little bit muddled, but it doesn't really matter. The result was still a happy family, no matter the means we took to get there. Sometimes, life gives you lemons. Sometimes it slips you a Jeffrey. We were given a baby.
Join us on our journey through parenthood of two beautiful little girls, and learn with us, teach us and observe us as we raise our own humans.
Together, we blog about our personal experiences as parents, review products and share recipes. Some of the popular topics on our blog include: surviving parenthood, surviving parenthood with twins, health & well-being, recipes, crafts, photos, technology, reviews and giveaways.

The world is a crazy place with some crazy ideas; let's explore them.
Also antenatal classes, events, playgrounds, pram friendly cafes, parent rooms, fun ideas with baby, a mumpreneurs & baby directory and details of the Royal Hospital for Woman.
We do this to empower all mums to be, mums, dads & carers with knowledge.
Along the way, you'll read about our unschooling adventures, see things I make, watch us fix up our little nest and try and leave as tiny a footprint on our beautiful corner of the world as possible. You might find a recipe or two and hear some of the music we love too…
Blogging with sarcasm about the highs, lows and unrecognisable sticky bits that come with parenting a Miss6 who thinks she's a Miss25; and the 2 1/2 year old Twin tornado – Mstr2 who should've been the Miss and is often found outside having a tantrum at absolutely nothing; and Miss2 who should've been the Mister, and rules the toy room by fear and intimidation, often barking out naughty words while stalking around and around in circles.
Survival via wine and dummies…
I have my son in Heaven and 6 children on Earth with me.
I blog about everything educational – Thoughts and ideas, product reviews, philosophies, activities and more.
I also blog about personal stories related to parenting and family life.
I am hoping that this School of Mum will be a place where parents can go when looking for information regarding children and their learning that is in ‘parent speak!’
A blog mix of recipes for mums and their kids plus crafts
And also motivation to keep us going!
The Little Red Brick House documents some of our adventures and misadventures as we ramble along on adventures through life.
The Mama Minute refers to the 60 seconds that a mama:
1. must fit in a million activities simultaneously (change nappy, prepare dinner, clean the kitchen)
2. feels she might actually be doing a decent job at work or achieving something in the office
3. knows it takes for any given day to go from perfect to absolute chaos
4. wishes she had to herself
I like to cuddle my adorable toddling Pebble-girl and spunky husband Paul, tool around with technology, feel the fizz of champagne bubbles on my nose, take self-portrait photos, cook and eat fabulous food, escape with junk TV, relax with friends and family, and teach small children.
I blog because I love writing and technology, and will continue blogging until it isn't fun anymore (can you imagine that?!).
{sorella /Italian /noun sister}
The sorella-hood {sister-hood!} is a space to have a laugh, learn something new, share knowledge and experiences, and to feel part of something a bit different.
We share a lot about parenting, relationships, kids, and sleep-deprivation, but we also write about other really important things we care about such as ethical fashion, the environment, health, and sustainability.
Apart from a regular hello from us, we also feature a Guest Blogger every couple of weeks. These guys are gurus in everything from women’s health, juggling the work-family balance, to creators of new and exciting products.
We look forward to seeing you in the sorella-hood!

Our baby was a little bit of a surprise, but we are so glad he is choosing us to be his parents. N and I have known each other forever and been together for since 2009 – very much in love and very excited to be building a family together.
This is my story. It’s not all rainbows and glowing and pregnancy bliss and joy. But it is real. Warts and all.
I know my experience will not necessarily be like yours. Pregnancy and motherhood is such a personal and unique experience that my views will no doubt be different to many. For me though, when I found out I was pregnant, there was so many people telling me how I should feel, what I should feel and how I should act in the coming months.
None of it fit me. None of it was truly how I felt or what I wanted to hear.
This is me. This is my journey. This is the truth behind my “glowâ€.

Oh, and my three kids don’t know that I’m clueless, so please don’t tell them…
After fifteen years in the Advertising game (including multiple awards for writing) and nine years of motherhood, I’ve begun to combine the two and have written a series of rhyming children’s books – watch this space.
Considering they have been work mates and flatmates they decided it was high time they took their friendship to the next level and became blog mates, a place where their work and home lives collide. Here at What Mummy Did Hannah and Natalie share the highs and lows of parenthood.
Of course all good things come to end, and so it is with maternity leave. Thankfully life can't always be about solids and sleep routines so in their spare time they go to work, actual paying work, just for funsies. Natalie is the entertainment editor for SMH online and she tweets at @baconchips; Hannah is online trafficker extraordinaire for tech publisher IDG and can be found at @theonlyhanban.
Hence the title.
