B is for Blog Chicks – Introducing our new A-Z on Blogging Series

You could ask 10 bloggers what blogging means to them, and you would get 10 different answers.

Having a creative outlet, documenting your life…cats. What ever the reason, blogging has become a large part of many people’s lives. For some, it has even become their day job.

At Blog Chicks we want to help Australian women bloggers to get the most out of their blogging, whatever that may be for them. Whether you are blogging for love and/or money, we hope that we can have something for everyone.

We have the biggest directory of Australia women blogs with over 3000 blogs listed! Helping you promote your blog as well as helping to find others to connect with.

Blog Chicks has a private facebook group where you can connect, network and ask advice of 100s of other bloggers.

We host monthly meet ups in Sydney, and coming soon to other major capital cities. It is always nice to catch up IRL (in real life), make new connections, put “a face to the blog” and to strengthen the connections we have already established online. We have started running free online webinars. These are a great way for you learn lots of new skills from the comfort of your own home (even in your PJs if you want!).

The Blog Chicks Facebook page is the best place to keep up to date on IRL and online events.

We will be starting an A-Z series on Blog Chicks, covering a range of blogging topics featuring resources to help you with everything from affiliates and advertising to (something at the end of the alphabet than I can’t think of)

Blogging over the last 10 years has changed a lot for me personally and the Aussie blogosphere in general. I still love blogging and it is something very close to my heart, but I like to take more of a behind-the-scenes approach these days. I love that we can help encourage and educate new and old bloggers alike.

A huge thank you to the lovely and amazing Rah Gardiner and Liz Pulo who have come on board to help get me and Blog Chicks on the right track and fulfilling its potential to be awesome, and help you be awesome as well.

If anyone has an idea for a topic they would like to see, or perhaps something they would like to share via a guest post, please let us know.
