Nice interview. Going straight to Wordpress self hosted is a good tip. It gives you more control over the content. You don’t need some outside group deciding that you cant run ads to try to monetize later that can happen with Blogger. But of course they like it if you run Adsense.
Another must have plugin is Akismet.
