Kudos to gorgeous model Lizzi Miller! Lizzi, you are absolutely beautiful! It's GREAT that Glamour Magazine & the like are learning that we want to see REAL WOMEN not stick thin models. If this had happened years ago I might have realised that it's OK not to look like those skinny models in magazines. My self esteem went out the window long ago and my years of dieting have only resulted in continual weight gain. My doctor has now convinced me to have lap band surgery. I need to lose 72 kg to reach a "healthy" weight.

WE NEED TO TEACH OUR SONS AS WELL AS OUR DAUGHTERS that being healthy and having a healthy self esteem are much more important than body type and size.

SHOUT IT OUT LOUD AND FROM THE ROOFTOPS INDEED! Thank you for posting this. What a way to end the week! I have been dealing with the beginnings of a small person's questioning of self image. I posted on what was beginning to happen and had many frustrated, concerned responses. The Lizzi Miller pic looks like one small but utterly significant step in the right direction! More Lizzi's!
